Will my insurance pay for cosmetic treatments?

There is a wide variety of cosmetic dentistry options and a wide range of insurance plans available. Every situation is unique, and while some insurance companies will cover certain cosmetic treatments, most cosmetic dentistry procedures are not covered by insurance plans.

There are exceptions to this with some insurance plans, such as if the cosmetic procedure is deemed medically necessary. If we think your situation may qualify for dental coverage through your insurance plan, we will assist you in communicating with your insurance company to obtain pre-approval.

Some cosmetic treatments, such as porcelain crowns, implants, and tooth-colored fillings, serve a therapeutic as well as cosmetic purpose, and these procedures are often covered by insurance. If you are unsure as to whether your procedure is covered by insurance, our staff can review your coverage and answer any questions you may have.

If your insurance does not cover cosmetic dentistry, our Elk Grove dental office will work with you to create a treatment plan to fit your budget. We will explore financing options with you to help you achieve the smile you deserve in the most cost-effective way possible.

Everyone deserves a smile they can be proud to show the world. Call today to schedule a consultation and find out more about how cosmetic dentistry can improve your appearance.
